APPEAL FOR 'THE WAY' CLINIC AT THE CHURCH OF THE ASCENSION ,KENT RD ,HILLSIDE This Clinic has been operating for 3 years to serve the needs of the poor and destitute in the area. It is run by a team of volunteers-two doctors,two nursing sisters with help from other nurses when they are off duty ,and several helpers. The number of patients has risen considerably over the last year ,exceeds 100 now and then so consequently more help is needed not least because one of the sisters and one doctor is going on leave shortly .
The Clinic operates on Wednesdays from 10am to 1.00 or 2.00pm depending on the demand in the Parish Room which is entered from the church car-park . Our Appeal is for doctors and nurses/retired nurses who can give a few hours of their time on Wednesday mornings.

Tristan and Natalie Peacock would like to thank all the kind-hearted people for their prayers and support on behalf of our son Liam. Liam was severely mauled by a lion on the 9th August and rushed to Polokwane Medi-Clinic. A special thanks to Vicky Krechmar for very bravely getting Liam away from the lion, Basil Steyn for getting my son and I to the Hi-Care, Emcare Ambulance. The Medi Clinic staff for waiting for us in Louis Trichardt, the Zimbabwean and South African border officials who let us through with no official documents, a very kind lady on the Zimbabwean side, who lent us her Toyota Corolla and cell phone. Dr Casper Venter of Zoutpansberg Medical Clinic, Polokwane Medi-clinic (Dr. Viljoen, all the nurses, head nurse Hyla Marie) Rob and Charmaine Gradwell, Marietjie and family for paying a large deposit at the hospital for Liam's operation and the ambulance, Peter and Hestie Wentzel who gave us accommodation for the first three nights, transport, phone and clothes, Headmaster Mr. Pieter Nel of Capricorn High school who gave us accommodation at no cost for the full duration of our stay in Polokwane, Capricorn High School students who raised a lot of money in a civvies day for Liam's medical expenses and putting groceries together for us to live on. Parents (John and Cathy Peacock) who have put a very large effort into helping us with expenses and having us live with them in Humansdorp where we went as soon as Liam could be moved, and to start therapy on Liam. We lived with them for two months. Parents, Pam and Terry Fenn and Sister Katt Fenn for looking after our home, dogs, bills and life in Bulawayo while we were gone. Theo & Michelle Bronkhorst for organizing food for our dogs and looking after them. Thanks to the Fenns also for organizing the golf day they held to raise money for Liam at Bulawayo Country Club. 1) If you know of a water leak email me the exact address of the leak.
2) I have been told on numerous occasions that there are people who actually try and fix these leaks themselves, I need your name and where the leak, don't be scared, give me your details, and if you are really that scared then please give me the location of that leak
3) SPINNING METRES: Yes they spin, be very careful if you have no water coming from the tap beware, do not turn your tap on, air is released through the pressure, and guess what , your metre spins, therefore you are going to be charged for air and not water. ADVISE: turn your mains metre tap OFF in case someone in the home keeps a tap on by accident. In some cases the metre spins backwards, now that's a bonus, but don't try it.

I would like to offer a reward for information leading to the recovery of an Imbuia Lounge Suite, missing from Famona between 18 September and 16 October, 2005. The suite comprises a wooden base for a three-seater settee, and two armchairs to match.
The back rest is ornately carved, as are the arms, and on either side there is a half wagon-wheel ornamentation. (Note: This is NOT a Zeederburg suite) All three items have no webbing, nor base and no cushions - I have these which were stored separately. The suite is of sentimental value, and I would be delighted to get them back - undamaged, and no questions will be asked. I have offered a reward of $3 million to the person who is instrumental in getting the furniture back to me. Nothing will be paid until the furniture is in my possession.
