WHERE HAVE
ALL MY BUDDIES GONE ?
BERTHA'S REPLY.....
You may have read my Morning Mirror Number 64 in which I
wrote "Where Have All
My Buddies Gone?" Well I am in deep sh-t with
everyone for being so negative. Anyhow I received this poem from my
friend Bertha Lee.
WHERE HAVE ALL MY BUDDIES GONE ?
Maggie you must have been having a bad day,
as your letter reflects defeat and dismay.
It seems the challenge is not in the games that you play,
But rather to find new pals who have stayed.
It's sad that our friends have had to move along,
To those who have stayed the fight must go on.
"The Change" as we call it, is the inevitable end
Just don’t lose hope Maggie my friend.
Our lives will never be "normal" again
But look to the future there are great things to attain.
The tears in your eyes should be tears of joy,
for Bob and his cronies cannot continue their ploy.
No fuel, no food and now no money to spend,
Surely its clear that we are near the end.
Those who will go down with the old man
are trying to grab whatever they can.
Ivory Lodge, Konondo and the Presidential Herd
We all know that this is totally absurd.
It makes us angry, distraught and sad
To see others doing what we know is bad.
The destruction is something we will have to mend
Once the evil has come to an end.
For those that have lost, don’t think we don’t care
We will never forget them although they are not there
We fight in memory of those whom we’ve lost
And we’ll stay committed until Morgan’s ‘THE BOSS’
Hundreds of people are fighting each day
Their lives on the line to find the way
The regime is evil, the force is strong
To think we’re not trying is simply wrong.
Our council elections prove that I’m right
Countrywide people have joined the fight
Our duty remains to be steadfast and strong
For good will prevail and in this I’m not wrong!
So you see Maggie my friend, you must not feel down
For soon we too will be in a new town.
A place that is filled with joy and with hope.
In a country that is lead by Morgan and his folk.

Be Positive!!
It takes less energy to say something positive than it
does to say something negative. In fact, Doctors now say that when we
speak positive words our bodies relax and the blood flow actually
increases to our brain - and a well-oxygenated brain will always help us
to handle situations more effectively.
