It's all very well talking about the weather and the mynah birds, but something much more serious is happening in the world...... Ukraine.
The media has asked for it not to be called 'War' or 'Invasion' but with all the disinformation and propaganda going around, it's hard for the average man in the street to gasp the enormity of it all.
People are dying, homes are being bombed, millions are on the march searching for safely. It's still winter in Europe and have just come from Scandinavia, trust me its still bitterly cold. I think it all came rushing at me in particular when I saw the long line of prams/strollers, that Polish women had left on the station platform as a gift to Ukrainian refugee mothers....and then of course the bombing of the maternity hospital in Mariupol....what else will be necessary to persuade the world that it is on the brink of a humanitarian catastrophe."
