Please come and try this sport out - it is wonderful for the kids in many ways and above all is good clean family fun! At present it is sitting in Gardeners Centre, Bulawayo with a chap by the name of Bernard as I have been unable to sell it. It is a very large fishtank with very thick glass. (I haven't seen glass this thick in other fishtanks). It has a thick metal stand with a wooden top which the fishtank rests on. I would estimate the size at roughly 1.4m length, 1.2m width and about 1.4m height. It has a black lid that has a fluorescent light fitted. It also comes with a wooden cabinet that fits over the tank. The tank is also very new, there are no scratches. My asking price is $850,000.00. If it is at all possible I would be very grateful. T S Matabele, the Zimbabwe Sea Cadet Corps has, for the last five years, been sharing a facility for its headquarters in Bulawayo with Highlanders Basketball Club, under a very amicable though loose arrangement. We have erected our own building there with our own hands. Now the Basketball Club has been suddenly "taken over" by a financier, a Mr. M. Ndlovu, who seems to be pouring vast amounts of money into improving the court and its facilities. We have had discussions with him and it seems, in spite of initial goodwill for us to stay, he wants us out of there, fast and to take over our premises. Things have come to a sudden head today with a vitriolic letter from him to me which inter alia quotes: "...I am giving you up to Friday 12/12/03 next week to move out of my premises failing to do so will result in me moving your things for you." In a previous letter he demanded a rent of $50 000,00 "...until we come to an understanding of how things should be done." I replied that we would not be able to pay this. (I have already received a wonderful offer to pay this first amount for us, but I am not sure as to its validity and result.) There is much more detail that I will not go into here. The net result is that it looks as if we shall have to move out very quickly. We therefore are in great need of help. In order of priority we need:
