BMX AFRICAN CHALLENGE

The African Challenge will be held in Bulawayo on the 3rd and 4th October and is going to be very exciting with Harare riders and South African riders competing. There will be more news about this event and what will be on offer closer to the time.

Attached, please find information in regards to our upcoming trip.. Please feel free to forward to anyone you think would benefit from this information.

This will be our fourth mission in three years to Harare, Zimbabwe Central Children's Hospital. To make this mission a total success we are not only willing to do everything we can to help your country with its medical needs as best as we can but also we need your support as well. Please make as many media contacts as possible so all the nation of Zimbabwe will know we are here once again.

Operation of Hope, headed by American Dr. Joseph Clawson, will be at Children's Central Hospital in Harare this November 2-14, 2008 doing surgical repair for cleft lip and palate deformities for free. If at all possible, please be at the hospital by 8:00 a.m. Sunday, November 2nd for your child's examination. Also bring all pertinent medical records. If your child or young person has been previously operated on by Operation of Hope, they will be happy to provide the important follow-up examination at this time. Please tell as many as possible to get this information out to your family, friends and neighbors. You can be a part of bringing healing and change to many!

CITY OF KINGS MUNICIPAL UPDATE

Some of the current challenges facing the council and residents !!

There are only 5 days of chemicals left - conserve water. 60% of low density households exceed their ration.
There are only 6 out of 20 ambulance in service - can anyone help or adopt an ambulance. The fire department has no radios for their emergency vehicles etc etc...

We need to bring residents on board to get us through the crisis.
The City Council is taking its role as the City Management Team very seriously, I have been given details on the refuse removal problems, I have been given a schedule of the new rates system, if you would like copies, please email me on magskriel@mac. com
