Turn right into Judith Road and continue until T Junction. Cross over Annabel Road and the McCay's home is straight in front of you and sign posted.

STEALING LOVE JONES

It was the brainchild of young Gemma MacMillan. Gemma has obviously taken a leaf from her Mother's book of producing fabulously successful and brilliant stage productions.

Michelle as CEO of Matabele Steam Laundry does incredible ballets featuring swirling sheets amongst other things !! Gemma and the Girls' College Fund Raising Committee brought us "Stealing Love Jones" at the Amphitheater last Saturday.
Full marks to this most talented South African avant garde Rock / Pop group who braved the wilds of darkest Zimbabwe to bring, for free, a wonderful musical show to make us forget our problems, allow us to let our hair down, and enjoy music the real Bulawayo way.
We were amidst the folk we love and who have stuck it out because Bulawayo is truly beautiful.
Full marks to the supporting acts, Girls College Jazz Band, wonderful sounds Liyana from King George IV, glorious harmony from Falcon College and young enthusiastic mass choral work from C.B.C.

The Matthew Townshend and Heath Streak Cricket Clinic.

Matthew Townsend and Heath Streak will be holding a cricket clinic for junior school boys and girls sponsored by Gray Nicolls. The clinic will start o the Wednesday 6th August and finish on Saturday the 9th August. It will consist of different age group coaching over 3 days held at Whitestone School. Each child will then play a cricket match at Queens Sports Club against a Zimbabwe development team. The kids will receive a clinic T-shirt and cap and a prize giving will follow the last match on the Saturday afternoon.

Africa Sun was built and equipped as a backpackers lodge, however we are eager for it's utilization in any practical form. The most ideal application that comes to mind is an overlanding company's base in Bulawayo. The ample bed-space, truck facilities and backpacker orientated facilities make it the perfect alternative to the municipal campsite. In it's heyday, Africa Sun would accommodate a total of 50 guests between two dorm rooms and five double private rooms.

The Main House - all upstairs, it consists of three bedrooms and one bathroom, a large lounge with balcony overlooking the garden, a dining room and kitchen. Underneath is a dorm room with 14 bunk-beds and a flatlet/private cottage with large bedroom, kitchenette and bathroom.

There are several outbuildings around the main house. One block contains two double private rooms with kitchen, shower and toilet. Another has two double private rooms adjoining three showers and two toilets which can be shared by the dorm. Finally there is the large cottage which has a kitchenette, bathroom and two big rooms. This was originally used as a dorm and bunk-beds are available to furnish.

The entertainment area is arranged around the swimming pool. There is a large bar/dance area joining a TV lounge. The office/storeroom adjoins. The breakfast/braai area has an open kitchen ands restrooms are close at hand A borehole provides relief from water cuts.There are three carports, two double ports with a pit and one triple port.
