RECREATIONAL GYMNASTICS WORKSHOP

For children aged 3 to 10 years What will they learn: Basic floor skills, trampet jumps and vaulting skills. Locomotive movement, movement to music to teach rhythm and group work. Activities with beanbags, hoops, balls and ribbons to enhance spatial awareness, crossing the mid-line, balance, body awareness and all round co-ordination. Group work with the parachute, exciting games and creative musical warm-ups.

There is a recent upsurge in crime in ALL areas, Ilanda, Hillside, Burnside and Morningside seem to be the worst hit at present. This is just typical for this time of year due to the criminals also doing their Christmas shopping. It seems again we are dealing with different syndicates. The types we know of today steal the following:
Home electrical appliances
Furniture
Money, cell phones and Jewellery
All of the above 3 together
Vehicles on order - often hijacked
Vehicles for spares - hijacked and stolen
LATEST MODUS OPERANDI FOR HOUSE BREAK-INS
People and dogs are definitely getting sprayed, usually with "quick start" which has an ether base. When people are sprayed they often do not hear anything, wake up later than normal and have headaches during the day. Criminals are still urinating against walls letting the dogs get used to them around which then allows them easy access to the yard. Some criminals are using Emergency Taxies parked at the end of the road, where the driver will sit for hours waiting for them to signal to him to move and collect them.
For a numerous amount of house robberies, the criminals tend to leave things within a certain radius in order to come back a little later to collect. We discovered after one incident where the police and one dog had attended a home and two hours later after us arriving and talking to the victim, did we go around outside, investigate where they had gained entrance and where they left, and walking around the whole yard found all the items hidden under one small bush in the garden and all the keys at another section of the garden near the gate. Some victims have found their items outside the property under rocks, whilst others have found them in an open flay not too far from their home.
If you see anyone loitering near your home and you don't want to ask them to move, call the police stating you have someone suspicious hanging around your neighbourhood and you are nervous. The police will assist and send him/them away.

We have just received a new consignment of plants and the nursery is so full we are hard put to find any space. Something different in the way of standards arrived - unfortunately no roses but we have eugenia, three different types of duranta, hibiscus, iochroma, cestrum and the two varieties of vitex. All these standards will do very well in pots and so even with water rationing you could still treat yourself to one.
There is just too much to list but must mention the lovely Eugenia nana, the acalyphas,cordylines, dracaena, crossandra, heliotrope and pentas. Everything thriving with this wonderful weather and dying to get out of their packets! Now is the time to revamp old, tired beds and re-pot before Christmas. Couldn't ask for better weather.
