Rhodesian Landscapes. Calendar 2005

Thoughts From Abroad

I am Dr. Forde who worked at the Adventist Dental Practice in Suburbs, and your recent newsletter made me homesick for B/yo. Especially the word that the jacarandas are into their bloom. I remember sitting in the dental surgery and just glancing out the window and seeing those gorgeous colours. We do have 2 jacarandas outside the Dental School where I teach here in California, but they will never match the beauty of the trees in B/yo.

PERSONAL NOTE
My son Owen King who was involved in a serious car accident in 1998 and was left with severe brain damage had his cell phone stolen last week. As many of the public know Owen has made good progress far beyond any expectations. However, the highlight of his life was when we bought him a cell phone in which helped his speech tremendously as he then had to manage to answer the cell phone and speak as well.
