4) Condolences/In Memoriam/Wreath Funds Dear Bulawayo friends & family "Jim" James Simpson McInnes Parker passed away yesterday afternoon in Finland where he had been living for the past year or so "Jim" is survived by his son 'Troy' from his first marriage his wife "Linda" and his step-children .. Glenn & Glynis as well as 'five' grandchildren in the mix. 'Jim' had recently been diagnosed with 'AML' Leukemia a very aggressive form of bone marrow Cancer and was undergoing 'Chemo' treatment up until he contracted severe pneumonia that failed to respond to any form of treatment due to the Leukemia constantly destroying his white blood cells. His body's immune system had been destroyed "Jim"grew-up in Bulawayo where his parents "Hugh & Annie Parker" were long standing residents, 'Jim' was schooled at "Hamilton", he will be well remembered for the many years he lived and participated in the Chiredzi & Lowveld community, not only for the year's he served in the BSAP but also later as a Cane Producer and farmer as well as a later owner of Bulawayo Warwick's Butchery & his Chiredzi Fayde-Park Butchery. 'Jim was a very active participant and player member of the 'Hippo Valley Polo X' Club. 'Jim' represented 'Rhodesia' for Polo X at International Level. RIP "Jim" James Parker. 27.09.1950 - 02.06.2019 "now at peace - no more pain", gone to rest in the sanctuary of God's eternal care.
