ADELAIDE MABLE 'NANA' WALTON (ESCOTT)

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Adelaide Mable 'Nana' Walton (Escott), age 106, at the home of her daughter Odeen 'Wally' O'Donovan (formerly Hayward)  wallyodonovan6@gmail.com  in Cobh, co. Cork, Ireland on 18 March 2019.

Mable lived for many years in Colleen Bawn and then in Bulawayo after her late husband George Henry Walton retired.
She leaves behind her daughter Odeen and daughter-in-law Beryl Kathleen Walton;

Grand-children: Brent John Hayward (Lynn McDonald), Peter Brendan Hayward (Linda Elizabeth Skelton), George Henry 'Jody' Walton (Rebecca 'Becci' Way), Gerhard Walton (Coralie Page), Anton Dudley Walton (Rose Ash)
Great-grandchildren Shireene Johnson, Larissa Johnson, Bradley Hayward, Kyra Hayward, Shane Alexander Hayward, Andrew George “Andy” Walton, Kevin Walton, Skyler Walton, Kiana Walton.

Great-great-grandchildren Lydia Courtney Risby and Adelaide Odeen Tracey Stevens.

Memorial Service to Celebrate life of Adelaide Mable Walton On Friday 22nd March, 2019. Reposing at Cahill's Funeral Home, Newtown Road, Cobh, Co. Cork. Mick O’Donovan Mick, read out a little story about Mable written by Andy (Jody's son)and Sarah Comyn, a grand-niece (daughter of Daniel Comyn and Gayle Susan Walton) read a poem.
At 10.30 am family and friends proceeded to the Island Crematorium in Ringaskiddy for another service but with a more detailed story on Mable and different poems and songs.
