4) Condolences/In Memoriam/Wreath Funds Friends and Family of the Late Nellie Jansen Van Vuuren, who passed away on 3 January, 2019, in Richards Bay, please be advised that the Memorial Service will take place at the Dutch Reformed Church, on Tuesday 29 January, 2019 at10.00 am JILL MILLER-CRANKO Jill Miller-Cranko, Loving wife of Guy (1930 - 2003) sadly slept away peacefully, in England, on Monday January 14th 2019. Throughout her life she retained fond memories of the Matabeleland bush, Girl Guiding and the Trade Fair 'Farmers Den', Hillside Presbyterian Church, many years with close friends as a Paul Harris Fellow in Rotary International, teaching at the Bulawayo Tech College and Convent Girls High and singing with the Choir at the Academy of Music. She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Claire (Arnold, Andrew and James) and her Son, Simon (Kirsty and Meghan) Her funeral will be held at 2pm on the 6th February 2019 at the Hertford Baptist Church, England. He will be missed by all who had the opportunity to meet him socially or in business but mostly by his family he left behind. His wife Mary, children - Victoria and Duncan, his daughter Rebecca and Grandchildren Talia and Jade, as well as his sister Laurel, niece Aruschka and her family - Phillip, Zarah and Jacob. A memorial service will be held at the (Lemon Squeezer) - St Charles Catholic Church in Victory Park, Johannesburg on Monday 21 January 2019 at 11am. 19) Seeking Friends I have been researching my mother's family and came across a rather colourful sounding character by the name of Aston Redrup who according to family legend, built a castle in Bulawayo. My research into this has yielded very little until an acquaintance of mine from Zimbabwe suggested I contact you. Of you would be able to provide any photos of the castle, stories or memories of people who may have seen it, visited it or know of its fate I would be extremely grateful. My reason for contacting you is this when in Bulawayo I had a recipe for homemade eye drops it was very basic and used distilled water and a very mild powdered acid which was added to the water in a very small quantity, it was really cheap to make and worked really well. I think I got the recipe out of the Bulawayo Sunday newspaper but I am not sure.
