3) Congratulations Fifty years ago on 21st. January, a baking hot day in mid-summer, Mike and Liz Davies nee Gibbens were married by the Rev, Ivan Carson in The Methodist Church, Main St. Liz wore a white wool mini-skirt with shasta daisies in her hair and a big bouquet of shasta daisies by Wright's Florists. They were worried that the flowers wouldn't last, having never used them before, but they stayed fresh and beautiful. We have been together over many miles, around Zimbabwe and overseas in Indonesia, The Philippines, Mauritius and Iran and many more. We are now living in Cambridgeshire in a quiet green village called Fenstanton. 4) Condolences/In Memoriam/Wreath Funds VALERIE TINK Much adored and loved Wife, Mother, Grand Mother, Great Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and dear Friend. Passed away on Thursday 26th January 2017. Rest peacefully Ma! We love you and you will always be in our hearts. Will be sorely missed as the matriarch of our family and by all who knew her. A tribute and memorial service in celebration of her life will be held at the Whitestone School Chapel - Bulawayo on Thursday the 2nd February 2017 at 2:00 pm. The BHN team is devastated to say good bye to dear Le-Anne who passed away on Thursday. Her deep sense of goodwill and common sense had a deeply calming influence on everyone she met. She reached out and touched, and made a difference to many lives in Bulawayo. She was a great person and much loved . Her Memorial Service will be held at The Rock on Monday 30th January at 3 pm. BARRY STUART PHILP-TIGHE Barry Philp-Tighe dearly beloved husband of Carolynne, father of Matthew and Faye passed away on Wednesday 11th January 2017 after losing his battle with cancer.
