CONTACT ran short courses in basic counseling skills and communication skills and collected small fees that were used to cover minor expenses of delivery of counseling services. In 1998 the organization started employing qualified staff who was paid by successful project proposal that attracted funding by various donors. The volunteer counsellors continued offering their services to complement the modest number of staff. Over the years CONTACT had grown, and currently, employs 17 full time staff members and 7 (seven) part time counsellors. At the same time, CONTACT has developed into a professional organization that operates from its own office premises and with a training building due to be completed in -----month 2016. The original conditions under which its constitution was drafted and governance structures were set up may no longer serve the present situation. SCOPE OF WORK It follows that CONTACT intends to identify a short-term consultant to: 1 Describe the governance structure options that are available for CONTACT listing their advantages and disadvantages with a special emphasis in maintaining and safeguarding the organization's professional nature 2.
