5) Roses And Raspberries Roses for Zonki Iziwe Shopping Centre for providing parking bays for the disabled, and raspberries for the folk without disabilities who park in them. Could I point out to the powers that be, that these parking bays are just too narrow for the cars used by our disabled folk. At least three parking bays are needed for a two parking bay configuration, as the car doors for disabled people need to be opened really wide. Thank you for caring Zonke Izizwe, and shame on the people without disabilities, who selfishly use these prime parking places. The following is based on my 'discoveries' in local shops during the recent Festive Season ... can anyone add to these ? On the first day of Christmas , my true love sent to me : a turkey from Brazil ; on the second day of Christmas , my true love sent to me : some prickly pears from Algeria ; on the third day of Christmas , my true love sent to me : tilapia from China ; on the fourth day of Christmas , my true love sent to me : some kiwi fruit from New Zealand ; on the fifth day of Christmas , my true love sent to me : It is very sad that items such as these cannot be produced in Zimbabwe, especially when they were available here at one time, or, with some effort and entrepreneurship, could be produced again.
