DEATH NOTICE

25-10-1939 - 13-6-2013

For my Dad who just this morning, went to be with my Mom in heaven,
When life was closing in on me, and my world had fallen down,
You always kept me going when you would come around.
You pieced me back together, you made me laugh and smile,
and when my steps would falter, you always led me that extra mile.
You gave me a shoulder, to cry upon, you listened when I had to talk,
even when I went on and on.
You never tried to judge me, or tear my life apart,
You kept my feet on solid ground, while you listened with your heart.
You told me I could be someone, and you made me feel I could do anything,
go anywhere, If only I just would.
Your love was unconditional, So I gave love back to you,
You were truly the wind beneath my wings, and your love will see me through!

Rest in peace Dad, I will love you and miss you forever!

OUPA,
The Lord saw you getting tired, and a cure was not to be,
So he put his arms around you and whispered "come with me".
With tearful eyes we watched you suffer, and saw you fade away, and
although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay.
A Golden heart stopped beating, your beautiful smile at rest.
God broke our hearts to prove that He always takes the best.
Its gonna be lonesome here without you,
and we will miss you so each day.
Our lives are never going to be the same, now that you've gone away.
When our days are sad and lonely, and everything goes wrong, we will always
listen for your gentle whisper saying "cheer up and carry on"
Each time we see your picture, we will remember your smile and say "we'll meet again someday"!
Rest in peace our Precious, Precious Oupa- You will never be forgotten.
