Can you vote in 2008?

Did you register to vote, or did you check your name and details on the voter's roll? Have you turned 18 and registered?

IF NOT, YOU CANNOT VOTE IN 2008!!

Please, friends, make the effort to check your details, to register and to make sure that all your family, your workers, your friends and neighbours are REGISTERED TO VOTE in 2008. The 2008 election is critical. We can have a real, democratically elected government IF WE ALL VOTE. But we will not all be able to vote IF WE DO NOT REGISTER!!

While the rules may change as a result of the Mbeki-led negotiations and other initiatives, this is not guaranteed. We may go into the next election under the present election rules. We could still WIN those elections if we are all registered and exercise our right to vote. But we will certainly NOT WIN if we are not able to vote.

LET'S REGISTER, LET'S CHECK, LET'S VOTE THIS LOT OUT!!

LET'S MAKE A DATE - 2008!!

TIDBITS

The death throes of my friend Rhodollar Was a sad and a drawn out affair We tightened our belts and our collar But he still bought a meal that was square All the cents that were saved for the pension With percentages destined to mount Are now in a sort of suspension Where the zeroes are futile to count A lottery win of the "old days" Could pay now for two grams of cheese Forget about T-bones and meal maize They've been lost in sinkholes of sleaze.

Chris Higginson

The true meaning of life is to plant trees, under whose shade you do not expect to sit. -- Nelson Henderson

Most people think of peace as a state of Nothing Bad Happening, or Nothing Much Happening. Yet if peace is to overtake us and make us the gift of serenity and well-being, it will have to be the state of Something Good Happening. --E.B. White

ZIMBABWE - OUR HOME

We need you to pray with us, there is power in numbers - We need global prayer - Our economy is at its worst, our water situation and lack of electricity. From today we wont be having water all day from 7.30am to 15.30pm. Every day we have powere cuts if its not from 5am in the morning to 2pm afternoon , its 2pm to 10pm. We need Gods Hand to move over our land - the cost of living is beyond the ordinary person, we no longer have the three lifestyles, poor, average and the rich, everyone is poor now, you walk in a supermarket and you get such a shock, you move around confused, what do you take and what do you leave, who to pay and who not to pay. Please stand with us in prayer, we really need to start some form of prayer circle, where we stand together at a certain time, regardless of which part of the world we are in, we need a breakthrough, its is our right and we need to claim it. Any suggestions? Regardless of where you are, most of you that have left home, it wasnt by choice, it was circumstantial. Please pray with us and for us, families have been separated and scattered all over the world. WE NEED TO PRAY UNTIL SOMETHING HAPPENS.
