Five championship shows where registered dogs from as far afield as South Africa and Zambia will be attending. Anyone interested in seeing the quality show dogs being judged by internationally qualified judges can come to watch at the Cattle Arena which is in the Bulawayo Agricultural grounds behind the ZITF fair spire. There is no entry charge and there will be bar and catering facilities all weekend. People are warned that even though owners are responsible for their dogs, the public should show respect and give the exhibitors space to prepare and warm up their animals. And a word about our NEXT championship show weekend. The Bulawayo Kennel Club will celebrate it's 75th annual show in March 2003. It will be called the JUBILEE SHOW so look out for that. We are going all out to get judges from the UK and have planned to have amazing prizes for winners in many categories. Children handling dogs can enter too, so, see if your child would like to learn more about your pet and registered dogs, ask someone on the committee this weekend to find out more.
