'My name is Götz Weber, and I am writing to you from San Francisco, California, to inform you of the passing of Keith Maidwell. Keith danced in Cape Town for many years and was deeply connected to the local arts community. He was also my neighbour during my time in Cape Town. Keith passed away at the Eleanor Murray residence in Cape Town'. Keith was born in Bulawayo and trained with Elaine Archibald. Keith was also known for his powerful poetry and was nominated for the Bulawayo Arts Awards. Another talent was being a radio host at Skyz Metro FM, where he discussed mens' emotional and metal wellness.
