Arthur, Ford, Trillian and Zaphod find themselves in a restaurant, apparently at the end of the universe. - This is a really funny show that stays pretty true to the books and captures the silly feeling they were going for. The effects, sets and costume design aren't bad either, they fit in with the theme and look pretty good for a show that's over 40 years old! ROCKET MAN Paramount Pictures calls Rocketman: 'An epic musical fantasy about the uncensored human story of Sir Elton John's breakthrough years.' The film tells Elton John's life story, beginning with his early years in Pinner, Middlesex, as a prodigy at the Royal Academy of Music. The biopic also touches on his influential and enduring musical partnership with lyricist Bernie Taupin, as well as his struggles with depression, substance abuse and acceptance of his sexual orientation. - Rocketman ramps the camp up to 11, throws on some sequinned spectacles, and sparks fireworks of pure joy in glitzy song-and-dance routines. [Sight & Sound] - Rocketman manages to be campy and yet sincere, serious and yet ridiculous, profound and yet silly, and quite wonderful. Just like Elton himself. [Chicago Sun-Times] - There may be a showbiz biopic to come that matches Rocketman for wit, energy, charm, candour and shameless exuberance. But I think it's gonna be a long, long time. Believing he can unite his countrymen through the universal language of sport, Mandela joins forces with Francois Pienaar (Matt Damon), captain of the rugby team, to rally South Africans behind a bid for the 1995 World Cup Championship. - A noble and compassionate work that in its later scenes manages successfully to invest our emotions in the triumph of an important sporting victory.
