Things To Learn

      19/11/2024       Next-->

Let me tell you a few things I've learned over the years. I don't know how much sense they'll make now, but keep them in your pocket. They might come in handy someday.

First off, family and friends-they're everything. When the going gets rough, it's the people you've looked out for who will look out for you. Don't let the ones you care about drift away. A call, a visit, a little time goes a long way.

Forgive, even when it's hard. Holding onto grudges only eats away at you. Letting go isn't about letting someone else off the hook; it's about freeing yourself to keep moving forward.

Every single person you meet has something to teach you. Sometimes, it's the tough lessons from people who challenge us that reveal the most about who we are. Look for the lesson; it's always there if you pay attention.

Watch your words carefully. Avoid gossip-it can wound deeply. Speak words that build, not break. You'd be surprised how powerful your words can be.

Know who you are, what matters most to you. This might be the hardest part, but once you figure it out, don't let anyone or anything make you lose it. Set boundaries to protect what's important to you. It'll cost you sometimes, but it's worth it.

Take care of your body. I don't just mean eating right, though that's part of it. Move. Lift. Get outside. Your body is the only one you've got, and it'll serve you well if you respect it.

Don't shut yourself away from the world. Get out in the sun, breathe fresh air. You'd be amazed at how much better things look after a little time outside.

Physical strength and mental strength go hand in hand. Push yourself, challenge your body, and you'll find your mind growing tougher, too. There's a resilience you build when you know you're capable.

Set small goals every day. One thing for your body, one for your mind, and one for your spirit. Small wins add up, and that's how you build a life worth living.

Above all, master yourself. You can't control the world, but you can control how you respond to it. True strength isn't about changing everything around you; it's about staying steady inside when things around you are falling apart.

Lastly, guard your peace. Don't let anyone pull you into anger or chaos. If someone can control your emotions, they control you. Hold onto your calm-it's your shield in this world.

Keep these things close. They're not always easy, but they'll keep you steady when life gets tough.

ZIMBABWE PENSIONERS SUPPORT FUND

We are busy packing our boxes for our pensioners and the rain as welcome as it is seems to be a bit of a problem as our warehouse is still leaking. We need pallets to pack the boxes onto because of the water. We are packing for 1200 pensioners. Please, if anyone has any extra pallets they are willing to donate and drop off at our warehouse that would help us a ton.
