This week marks a significant step towards restoring Bulawayo's iconic clock tower to its former glory. Mayor David Coltart met with engineers at The City of Bulawayo clock tower to discuss what's needed to get the clock and bells working again. This meeting comes on the heels of the Swiss Ambassador's offer to support the restoration efforts.

The City of Bulawayo has been working tirelessly to revamp its infrastructure, with the engineering department making progress on various projects over the past two years.

This development is a testament to the city's commitment to preserving its heritage and revitalising its image. As the people of Bulawayo My City we should be proud of this initiative, which will undoubtedly boost community spirit and attract visitors to our beautiful city.

The restoration of the clock tower is more than just a renovation project - it's a symbol of our city's resilience and determination. As we work together to rebuild and restore, we're not just fixing buildings, we're rebuilding our community, brick by brick.

Let's continue to support our city's revitalisation and celebrate the progress being made. Together, we can make Bulawayo shine again!
