Decorations are appearing in the shops and shopping centers.
One such Shopping Centre that is looking particularly festive is Zonke Iziwe shopping Centre on the Hillside Road.
They have made the centre look so special. There is a giant wire Baobab Tree decorated with delicious looking shiny, striped, giant candy canes!
Of course Eskies is there and the Brooks Cafe has a whole new bedouin look for all their fun day and night time activities.
Wrights Nurseries have quite the most divine Christmas decorations for sale, I bought a long, exquisite turquoise blue and silver swag to use on my Christmas dining room table.
The little stationery shop is decorated as a Ginger Bread Cottage and all through the centre are Mary Poppin's green, red and white brollies with beautifully wrapped gifts dangling from them.
Even the macho butcher shop has festooned its doors with Christmas cheer!
There will be a candle lighting ceremony by Island Hospice on 27 November with music and carols so take the kids along and sing lustily to candlelight.
Thank you to the Zonke Izizwe management for bring beautiful Christmas Cheer to our little community.
