I came across your web site whilst looking for a site for the Lions Club of Khumalo, Bulawayo. One of their members, Lion Charles Rickwood, visited our club (Port Shepstone) the other night. Please could you assist if possible in forwarding their address to me. (BTW I am also ex-Bulawayo (lived in Hillside) and attended Gifford High 1976-1979 - miss the place terribly! - Kind regards

TIDBITS

MRS KATHY BOOYSEN OF ERNST AND YOUNG TO BE NOMINATED THE NICEST PERSON OF THE YEAR !!

I said to the man who stood at the gate

"Of the year, give me a light that I may tread safely into the unknown"

and he replied

"Put your hand into the hand of God, which will be better than a light or a known way".

You will never lose until you surrender

"NO FREE GOVERNMENT CAN SURVIVE THAT IS NOT BASED ON THE SUPREMACY OF LAW"

Inscription on the frieze of the US Attorney General's office in Washington.

A thought for the next few days leading up to 1st January 2004 :

We spend January 1st walking through, room by room,
drawing up a list of work to be done,
cracks to be patched.
Maybe this year, to balance the list,
we ought to walk through the rooms of our lives ...
not looking for flaws,
But for potential.
