Rain Cactus - Bulawayo 15 Nov 2011
Maybe a "Queen of the Night" nocturnal flower or "Selenicereus grandiflorus" - a cactus with giant flowers that bloom after sunset and only last for one night. The name comes from the Greek selene meaning the moon and cereus, meaning waxy. They are fast growing but do not flower well until mature. They need sun or partial shade and rich, well-drained soil and propagate easily with stem cuttings.
